Reach a person
Write to hello@dudububu.space. One inbox, read by the people who make the app. We reply within 2 business days, and usually much sooner.
Include these and you will save yourself a round trip: your device and OS version, the app version from Settings, what you expected to happen, and what happened instead. Never send us your password — we will never ask for it.
Cancel or change a subscription
Subscriptions are held by the App Store and Google Play, so they are cancelled there. It takes about a minute, and it is the same place you change plans.
On iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Dudububu, then Cancel Subscription.
On Android
- Open the Google Play Store and tap your profile icon.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Dudububu, then Cancel subscription.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription, and we cannot cancel one for you. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, or the next renewal will already have been charged.
Premium keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. After that both bears return to the free plan and every memory stays exactly where it is.
Billing and refunds
- I was charged after cancelling
- The cancellation probably landed inside the 24-hour window before renewal. Request a refund from the store and send us the order number — we will back you up.
- I want a refund
- iOS: reportaproblem.apple.com. Android: your Play order history. The stores hold the money, so they issue the refund.
- I paid but Premium is not showing
- Check you are signed into the store account that paid, then use Restore Purchases in the app's settings. If it still does not unlock, send us the order number.
- My partner does not have Premium
- One plan covers both bears, but only while you are paired. Confirm you are still paired, then have them restart the app.
- I changed my mind about the free trial
- Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends and nothing is charged. The trial keeps running until its last day either way.
- I bought Lifetime and unpaired
- It follows the account that paid and covers your next pairing. Nothing to reactivate.
Pairing problems
- The code will not work
- Codes are single-use and expire. Generate a fresh one and have your partner enter it while it is on screen.
- It says they are already paired
- One code links exactly two accounts. They need to unpair from their existing partner first — from their own device.
- I picked the wrong bear
- Change it in Settings. Your avatar, map pin and chat bubble follow.
- Our counter has the wrong date
- Set the start date in Settings. The counter recalculates, and milestones move with it.
Exports, unpairing and deletion
- Export the album
- Settings → Export. You get every photo, video and memory in a portable archive, at full resolution. Large albums take a while and arrive by email.
- Unpair
- Settings → Unpair. The counter stops, every memory stays, and neither of you sees what the other adds afterwards. Either of you can do it alone.
- Delete your account
- Settings → Delete account. Export first — this clears live systems within 30 days and backups within 90, after which nothing can be recovered.
- Get a copy of your data
- Export covers the album. For everything else we hold, email hello@dudububu.space from your account address and we will answer within 30 days.
Report something
- A bug or a crash
- Email us with your device, OS and app version. If the app crashed, send the crash report from your device's privacy settings — it tells us in one line what would otherwise take a week.
- Abuse, harassment or a safety concern
- Email us and mark it urgent. We look at these first. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services — we are not a safety service and cannot dispatch help.
- A security vulnerability
- Report it to hello@dudububu.space before making it public, and give us reasonable time to fix it. We will not pursue you for having looked, and we will credit you if you would like us to.
- A privacy request
- Access, correction, deletion or an objection — see your rights in the privacy policy.
